The construction of the longest underwater tunnel in Poland, between the Uznam and Wolin islands, is coming to an end. As announced, its opening should take place before the start of the holiday season.
Currently, internal construction and installation work is being carried out in the tunnel. Tests of Variable Message Signs (VMS) have also been conducted.
We would like to remind that the signs were provided by ENTE (https://ente.com.pl/en/products/road-traffic-management/variable-message-signs-vms). They were installed not only in the tunnel, but also on access roads. Their task will be to inform about any periodically occurring hazards, speed limits, or temporary closures of the tunnel.
