Wimea's location tracking system works on the basis of Ultra Wideband (UWB) technology, a wireless data transmission with high radio bandwidth and low transmitted signal power. UWB is precise and resistant to interference. Moreover, the operation of this technology does not interfere with other typical radio communication systems that have been available on the market for years.
The area to be covered by WIMEA location system should include a dedicated hardware infrastructure - receivers installed at locations agreed with the client (Anchors) and location transmitters (Tags).
The Anchors, receiving the signal sent by the Tags, determine the precise time of receiving information and transmit it via the Internet to the main server of the system. There, the position of each Tag is determined, which will be recorded in the database and presented to the user on the facility plan
